||Millbeck Cottage is a converted
barn on the edge of a small village, opposite the village green, with views
over beautiful Wensleydale in the centre of the National Park. There are a
number of established walking routes from the cottage and the village, and is
ideal for touring the National Park.
Local attractions include the
Wensleydale Railway, the Wensleydale Creamery and Dales museum in Hawes. There
is even a ropemakers and the famous Aysgarth Falls! There is a wide choice of
pubs, restaurants and tea shops, as well as takeaways, in the area.
There is a private patio outside, with tables and chairs, sunlounger
and a barbecue, which are stored in the garage. The garage is suitable for
secure storage of bicycles, and the area is popular with cyclists and mountain
The cottage overlooks the village green. Residents normally park
on the quiet road outside the cottage, but there is room for one car on the
patio. There is an offroad parking area in the centre of the village 100m
There are numerous attractions and beauty spots throughout the
Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Lake District, the North York Moors and York
are all within a day trip distance.
